Vertiv Liebert Hipulse-U UPS
30kVA to 500kVA Online Double-Conversion UPS for Critical Power
Vertiv Liebert Hipulse-U UPS is a
three-phase critical-power range from 30kVA to
500kVA, combining fully digital twin-DSP control,
a 0.9 output power factor and an online
double-conversion IGBT PWM inverter. Its scalable
architecture is designed to support demanding,
non-linear and unbalanced electrical loads.
Scalable Three-Phase UPS for Business-Critical Loads
Vertiv Liebert Hipulse-U UPS
is a three-phase online UPS platform covering
nominal ratings from 30kVA through 500kVA.
Fully digital twin-DSP control coordinates
power conversion and UPS operating functions
across the system.
Online double-conversion architecture isolates
the critical output through an IGBT-based PWM
inverter during normal operation.
A 0.9 output power factor enables greater
active-power delivery from each nominal kVA
rating than a lower-power-factor UPS platform.
The input stage accommodates 323–478 Vac and
an input-frequency range extending from
45 Hz to 65 Hz.
Hipulse-U is designed to operate with high
crest-factor loads, 100% non-linear loads and
100% unbalanced loads.
Built-in maintenance bypass and front-access
architecture simplify access to internal
components while preserving a compact equipment
footprint.
Parallel and dual-bus architectures provide
options for capacity expansion and power-path
redundancy across demanding critical-power
environments.
