Twin DSP Digital Control
Dual digital signal processors provide fully digital supervision of power conversion, protection and UPS operating functions.

The Vertiv Liebert HIPULSE-U UPS is a fully digital, three-phase power protection platform designed for demanding data centres, industrial facilities and mission-critical applications. Twin DSP control, 0.9 output power factor and scalable configurations support reliable power protection from 30kVA to 500kVA.
The Vertiv Liebert HIPULSE-U UPS is a three-phase online uninterruptible power supply available in capacities from 30kVA to 500kVA. It is designed to protect data centres, industrial systems and other critical applications against interruptions and power-quality disturbances.
Its online double-conversion architecture uses an IGBT-based PWM inverter to continuously condition incoming power before supplying connected equipment. A fully digital twin-DSP control platform manages the UPS operating functions and power-conversion stages.
A rated output power factor of 0.9 enables the UPS to deliver increased active power for modern equipment loads. The system can also handle leading power-factor loads without kW derating under the conditions specified by Vertiv.
The broad 323–478V AC input window and 45–65Hz input frequency range help the UPS remain on utility power during voltage and frequency variations, reducing unnecessary battery discharge.
The Liebert HIPULSE-U is engineered for demanding load conditions, including high crest-factor loads, fully non-linear loads and fully unbalanced loads. It also provides substantial inverter and static-bypass overload capability.
Built-in maintenance bypass, front-access servicing, parallel configurations and dual-bus architecture help support availability, maintainability and future capacity expansion.
The Liebert HIPULSE-U combines digital control, robust overload performance, flexible system architecture and maintainable cabinet design.
