Exide PowerSafe EHP Front Terminal Battery for Data Centres

The Exide PowerSafe EHP Front Terminal Battery range is a premium series of sealed maintenance-free AGM VRLA batteries developed for data centres, UPS systems and other high-power standby applications.

The range combines high-rate power capability with long-term reliability. Available models provide 15-minute constant-power ratings from 340W to 750W per cell at an end voltage of 1.67 volts per cell.

True front-access terminals allow electrical connections, inspection and maintenance activities to be completed from the front of a compatible battery rack or cabinet.

Synthetic-fibre-reinforced absorptive glass mat separators retain the electrolyte and help maintain compression throughout the battery service life. This supports high recombination efficiency and sealed, non-spillable operation.

Corrosion-resistant lead-calcium-tin positive grid alloy helps reduce gassing and water loss. Low internal resistance supports rapid current delivery during short-duration UPS discharge requirements.

Flame-retardant FRV0 ABS containers, heat-sealed lids, self-resealing vent valves, integrated flame arrestors and epoxy-sealed terminals contribute to dependable operation in critical battery installations.
