Amaron Quanta HWS battery is a high-wattage valve-regulated lead-acid battery range designed for applications that require substantial power over relatively short backup durations.

The range includes 388W, 440W, 540W and 730W models. Each rating is specified per cell for a 15-minute discharge to 1.67V end-cell voltage at 27°C.

High volumetric energy density allows more discharge power to be accommodated within a compact battery footprint. This is particularly relevant in data centres where battery-room space and floor loading must be carefully managed.

Low internal resistance supports high-rate discharge and efficient recharge following restoration of the normal power source. The range is suited to UPS systems that require fast power delivery during utility interruptions.

VRLA AGM construction retains the electrolyte within an absorbent glass-mat separator. The battery is factory filled and charged, with no routine water topping required under normal operating conditions.
