Vertiv Liebert EXM2 is a monolithic three-phase UPS engineered for highly reliable and efficient protection of next-generation mid-size critical loads. Available from 100 to 250 kVA/kW, it combines three operating modes, intelligent paralleling, flexible battery architecture and compact deployment for data centres and other critical environments.

Efficient Critical Power for Mid-Size Infrastructure

Vertiv Liebert EXM2 is designed for mid-size critical applications requiring a balance of power quality, operating efficiency, compact installation and system scalability.

The family is available in 100, 120, 160, 200 and 250 kVA/kW ratings, providing unity output power capability across the published range.

Three operating modes allow the UPS architecture to address different efficiency and power-quality requirements. Double Conversion Mode provides up to 97% efficiency, ECO Mode reaches up to 99.2%, and Dynamic Online Mode provides efficiency up to 98.8%.

Dynamic Online Mode combines high-efficiency operation with fast inverter response and power-conditioning capability, providing an additional operating choice between conventional double conversion and ECO operation.

Intelligent paralleling enables multiple EXM2 units to coordinate capacity according to the connected load. Up to six units can be paralleled for a published system capacity up to 1.5 MW.

The electrical architecture supports a two-wire DC battery bus and a high-capacity battery charger, while compatibility with lithium-ion batteries expands the available battery technologies.

Liebert EXM2 also supports loads from 0.5 lagging to 0.5 leading without published power derating, allowing compatibility with a broad range of modern IT and non-IT loads.

Its compact architecture supports In-Row, Room and Against-the-Wall deployment, allowing the UPS to adapt to different critical-infrastructure layouts.
