Golden Isolation Transformer Overview

Electrical Isolation for Sensitive and Precision Equipment

Golden Isolation Transformer transfers AC electrical power from its primary winding to a physically separated secondary winding, creating galvanic isolation between the utility supply and connected equipment.

This electrical separation is particularly useful where sensitive electronics operate on the same utility network as motors, drives, compressors, switching power supplies and other equipment capable of introducing electrical noise or switching transients.

An integrated Faraday Shield is positioned between the primary and secondary sections to reduce capacitive coupling and improve rejection of common-mode electrical noise.

The low-impedance transformer architecture supports efficient power transfer while helping isolate disturbances between the incoming mains and the protected secondary load.

The product is also designed to reduce EMI and RFI interference, utility switching transients, background spikes and other power-quality disturbances that may affect sensitive electronic systems.

Common-mode and normal-mode noise can be introduced when noise-generating and sensitive loads share the same utility distribution network. Isolation between circuits helps prevent these disturbances from directly coupling into protected equipment.

Golden Isolation Transformers are currently published in capacities from 1 KVA to 1000 KVA, covering smaller precision systems through larger industrial and infrastructure applications.

Golden Isolation Transformer Features

Power Isolation and Noise Reduction for Critical Loads

The transformer combines galvanic separation, electrostatic shielding and power-conditioning functions for sensitive electrical systems.

Galvanic Electrical Isolation

Separate primary and secondary windings provide electrical isolation between the incoming AC source and protected equipment.

Faraday Shield

The electrostatic shield between windings helps reduce capacitive coupling and improves common-mode noise rejection.

EMI & RFI Noise Reduction

The isolation architecture helps reduce electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference reaching sensitive downstream equipment.

Common-Mode Noise Suppression

Isolation and shielding help prevent unwanted common-mode disturbances from transferring from the utility side to the protected load.

Transient & Spike Reduction

The transformer helps reduce the effect of utility switching transients, background spikes and other electrical disturbances.

Low-Impedance Design

Low-impedance transformer construction supports efficient power transfer and controlled voltage regulation for connected equipment.
